Lesson: Drivers Wanted
There is a truck driver shortage in many parts of the world, including Japan, which has significantly impacted the economy. The shortage is due to various factors, including an aging workforce, a lack of new drivers entering the industry, and changes in regulations that have made it more challenging to become a truck driver. Due to the driver shortage, businesses struggle to move their products, resulting in delays and higher costs. Consumers feel the impact as prices for goods increase due to the higher transportation costs. In addition, the shortage is leading to a backlog of goods at ports and warehouses, causing further disruptions to the supply chain. How can we fix this growing issue? Will women come to the rescue?
